What should I do? (Long)

Ok, my engine is about dead. I am on a budget, but not so tight that I cant save a few more weeks to get something better. It HAS to have Fuel Injection, a form of Multiport is preferred. I am in Miami, Florida, AC is A MUST.

Rebuild my 305. It would cost me $700 in parts (stock) and be back at a little over 170hp. Maybe 200hp at best. (Existing mods) I would also need machine work. Everything inside the motor would need to be changed, absolutly nothing is reuseable. Comes with no warrenty. (This is what my parents want me to do.)

350 TBI. I can get a motor for about $850 and hope It wont need a rebuild. Pretty much a bolt in job. 1 year P&L, but they are very bad when trying to get money from there, they plain dont pay, so its a moot point.

L98 Tuned port. Can get one from a local junkyard for $1250. No Harness (Painless for $450) and no computer. (Free or cheap from a friend.) I would also need a Fuel Pump ($150 from summit, roughly.) Engine bay lines (someone on here wanted me to buy his.) I would need to drop the tank, but I am swapping the rear, so thats no big deal. I am already there. Also need to change harness, but I have a chevy guru helping me and all the required books, so it shouldn't be too bad. 90 day warrenty. Dont know the guys well, but they are in town, so I can break their knees.

LT1 $750 for the engine. I will need a computer, harness, fuel pump, radiator, tranny (So I hear, but I know a guy running that and a TH-350.) From what I heard the AC will not easily fit, so that swap is out of the question, I just threw it in for arguement's sake.

What do you think? I am personally leaning toward the L98.

Forgot to mention, I am a Professional Mechanic, so difficulty is not really a problem.

Are you going to use the accessories you have right now on the 305?
