My car is in NC right now at thirdgenresource.com getting a zz4 engine installed and converting to a t56 and a whole buncha other ****.... problem is he is having trouble finding a t56, i have lookd on ebay and i dont know where to buy one, speedautomotive.com has a package with alot of good stuff but its 2600$ im looking to spend under 2k.... can anyone help me out please, the car cannot be worked on until he recieves a T56... should i go used? or what? anything would be very appreciated

 

yes, go and find one out of a wrecked car.....

call all your local junkyards and try to find one for cheap out of a vehicle with low miles.

post in the area threads on here and different sites. they are out there and don't cost that much. 2600 that is.

what exactly are you having them do for your engine? what numbers are they quoting you? good luck with it.

by the way, have any more side pics of that car.

 

I would be very interested in a price quote as well! And with all of the cars they have access to, they can not find a t-56, from anyone? Good luck with the swap!

 

Scoggin dickey has a retrofit t56 for t5 bellhousings...1950 i think
