Shipping A Engine For Swap?

Not sure how much it'll cost you, but my engine shipped from Seatlle Washington, to Chicago Illinois cost $245 for lift gate truck. If I had the equipment nessecary to get it off the truck myself I could have saved $80 on that.

Just thought I'd give this a bump and say this. Whoever shipped my engine were VERY fast. The engine only took 7 days from Seattle Washinton to Chicago IL. Cripes, they told me to expect it on the 30th of December. It got there on the 23rd!!

I'm in the process of shipping a engine from Illinois to Washington DC. $305.00 thru Conway Freight. I secured it to a pallet & then boxed it in w/ plywood. I have to deliver it to the trucking terminal & then they will deliver it to the buyers address, Check in the yelllow pages for Shipping/freight companies in your area and make a few calls to price around.
