Fuel line question with LT1 swap

What side do the fuel return and supply lines run on a tpi car. I bought all new TPI lines to replace my original carb setup because the lines were looking a little shabby. They look very different from my originals and any help would be appreciated. A pic of where they come in at the engine compartment would help also. Thanks in advance.

I think it is 15 but I'm not totally sure. Why? Would that make some kind of difference?

I don't know about that one. I plan on crossing that bridge in a few days when I can get the rear suspension down and the tank out. My main problem now is that I can't figure out how the new lines go in. They don't match the frame anywhere as far as I can tell.

If you got the tpi hardlines from a FI car, they should just follow the frame rail the same from the rear all the way up to about the front of the trans, and then go straight where your carb ones go up and over to the pass side, the fi ones go to just past where the strut mount is against the frame rail.

I bought new replacement lines for a fuel injected car to replace my carb lines. So to understand this right...the lines go from the drivers side of the fuel tank all the way to the front and then cross over the trans tunnel and up along the passenger side fram rail? I misunderstood when I ordered them and thought the injected lines are all on the passenger side even back at the tank. Thanks again for any help.

Basically the tpi and tbi / V6 cars use the hardline running from the filter on the drivers side and go alll the way along the framerail staying on the drivers side stopping just short of the power steering box, the carb cars it starts the same but crosses over following the trans tunnel just behind the motor and goes to the pass side cause thats where the mech pump is at, i guess you'd have to go get some custom lines if you want to keep your stock hardline.

Thanks guys...I finally got 'em in. They look good and so far so good....turns out my problems were caused by me when I accidentally bent the fuel lines when i was putting them up into the car and got caught on something. That slight bend caused me to think I somehow got the wrong lines. Next week the rear suspension and fuel tank come out...I here thats going to be another PITA.

I was hoping to be there by now, but work has been a little---scratch that---a lot hectic right now. I am going to cross that bridge on Monday or Tuesday. Just hope my tank is in good shape. I don't want to buy one of those if I don't have too.

Sorry...I'm not there yet. Unfortunately, all I have done-fuel wise- is drop in the new lines. I haven't pulled the gas tank yet or put in a fuel pump. I also don't have the engine in yet so there are no connections in the engine compartment. Hopefully I'll have the rear end apart this next weekend if time permits.

I used the lines from www.lt1intake.com , they connect to the stock TPI hard lines and have the correct GM quick connect style fittings for the LT1 fuel rail.
