I don't know how much power you'll be making, but it should be in the mid 13's.

The cam won't work in the block. '86 was flat-tappet, the ZZ4 is roller lifter.

You're basically trying to build a ZZ4 engine. It makes 355 HP with a 650 carb. You're going slightly upgraded TPI, but will need shorter runners to get up to that sort of cam's power peak.

What exhaust do you have planned? Headers would be a good idea.

Look for a Comp or Crane computer-compatible cam (the one I've got would work). Port the heads. You should approach the 355 HP the crate ZZ4 puts out. Set up properly, you should get into the 13's.

well i am pretty sure the 86 corvette L98 was a roller motor and the intake im gonna use the holly is a one piece unit like the LT1 i wont need runners and i should have plenty of bottom and top end. if the 86 is falt tappet i will get an 89 corvette L98 and use the zz4.
