LT1 cam that will work with a 96 computer?

Since I have my 96 LT1 partly apart to clean it up, I was thinking about putting a bigger cam in. Anyone know of a good grind that won't require a re-program on the OBDII computer? I am going to be running 1.75" SLP headers with dual cats, 3.45 rear, and a Tremec. This is going in my 89 Formula.

I can tell you that when I put the LT4 HOT cam in my 96 WS6, it would set the light everyday. Random misfire codes constantly.

I don't think any cam other than stock will not code. But you can get a 95 computer and work just fine. All you have to do is change the knock sensor resistence. I ended up going with a '95 computer in mine as that was the only way back then. Now you can get them programmed or do it yourself with LT1 Edit.

Dump OBD2, in my opinion its worthless. Like TTA said find a '95 computer and you can very easily tune for ANY mod you can think of.

I ended up ordering a harness and computer from Howell today. They talked me into switching to the 95 computer. Its a little more money this way but I think I will be better off long term.

LT1 Edit allows you to program the computer. Here's the website:
