I'm 15 and am looking to get a 350 to rebuild and swap out with my slow 305. I wanted to get some ideas on what parts I should get and some specs I should use. It is a daily driver but I want to get as much horsepower out of it as I can. I'm leaning towards swapping to carbuerated. Please give me any suggestions.

 

what kinda setup do you have now?

if you keep what you have you maybe could just buy a new 350 long block and put the 305 stuff on it..

 

If it's a daily driver I'd stick with EFI. Carb will need adjustments/tuning, and will get less mileage. Plus IMO, the TPI looks better . Go with a slight cam, like the ZZ4, or the comp 302, some valve springs, roller rockers and some headers. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator and some good injectors.
