Two questions. about motor swap
I have a machine shop that will rebuild my 350 for $1575 USD. Guarenteed to have 350 HP or more dyno proven. 1yr 10,000 mile warrentee. I just want to know if you guys think it is a good deal or not. A new trans for $650 usd with torque converter yes better than stock and mated to the motor. Oh one more srry I lied. How much should a shop charge to put it in. I have no garage to do it in and its too bloody cold to do it outside right now. thnks
A complete motor for $1575 that makes 350 HP and a warranty seems pretty good to me. Now for the installation... Ooh, I don't know. If you don't have a garage, or the desire to do it yourself since it's so cold, you kind of have to take whatever number they tell you it will cost to install. (Beggers can't be choosey.) Just call around and compare prices, IF they'll even do it at all. (Do you have any friends with a garage?)
