My 305 to 388 update
Well, it has been almost 5 months in the shop under going surgery. I am about out of time and most of all out of money. With almost $6,000 into the swap, she should be running this weekend. NO PICS YET, BUT SOON! Again, it's a 1991 RS I bought just to rebuild. I paid $2900 for it in perfect cond. It's bright red with red interior, t-tops, auto, very nice. Well, I wanted a drag car that could still put around on the road every Sunday, so I came up with this. So far, the motor is about done, the tranny is about done and the rear end is nearing completion also. This is what is done so far. (this set up alone should get me into the 11's with no bottle, 10's with the bottle, not bad).

Desk top dyno showed 503HP on the motor alone, top that off with a 200 shot of juice (if needed), NICE!
We cut tons of wires out, and removed all sorts of somg and emmissions ****, she looks clean as hell now!
ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A PAIN IN MY BUTT BUILDING A HIGH PERFORMANCE MOTOR FROM SCRATCH!
More to follow...

Just kidding. Wow! It looks like a great set-up! I'm jealous...
