i was originally goiin build a tpi motor and i may still...but i want to look for a wrecked, flooded it doesnt matter as long as the drivline is good..

so do any of you guys know the sites to salvage yards that regularly get ls1/lt1 cars

There's a place in MD called 'Brandywine'. I've seen quite a few totaled out/salvaged LS1's in there. Try an online search and you're bound to find something.

There is a place in Alabama called Billy graham's salvage yard. I've been over there to see the place, they have a lot of wrecked 4th gens. They seem to take their time pulling the engines and electronics. they have a decent website, just do a google search. They also have one of those little black and white ads in the back of chevy hi-perf every month.
