I'm from the Netherlands and have a 87 Transam 305TPI with 2.73 gears. This Summer i want to replace my 305 to a 350. There is not much information in the netherlands about usa cars so i try to collect information from this forum.

I think that a 350 with Vortec heads and 210/220 cam is a good choice. I want to keep the TPI system and 2.73 gears because its a daily driver making some 20.000miles a year. (and fuel is 2.5x your american price).

Questions
- How much HP / Torque can i expect from this engine

- I have to replace my chip , which one do you prefer for this setup

- What will it do on 0-60mph and 1/4mile.

Do you have other ideas about a good 350setup i'd like to hear them.
