Real Quick question ( Short block weight)..

I was just wondering how much a short block weights. I am about to buy a zz4 short block I just wanted to know if I will need a hoist to move it around.

Depends on how much moving around you're going to do. You're not going to be able to lift it up and put it on a table by yourself if that's what you mean.

A "short block" should be under 300 pounds. It's just a block, crank, con rods, pistons.

A complete SBC is around 550 pounds.
