Wasn't too hard really, just removed one bolt from the bottom, drilled out the rivet, pried up the housing and slipped the new mount inside.
I got those tips here a few months ago on how to change the mounts, but was never motivated enough to change them.

Hard to say exactly looking at the pic, but it looks like you got one of the mount inserts in backwards.
Check the metal plates that extend from the front and rear of each poly mount block...two on each block. See how they're staggered, so one is higher than the other?
It looks like the driver side has the higher-stagger one on top, and the passenger side has the lower-stagger one on top.
If so, best fix it now before the engine's in and you can't get the mount bolt thru the hole.

Before I put the mounts in, I put the engine mounts over the motor mounts to see if they line up. They did, so I hope they are right.

Doing an engine swap right now, and i want to replace my engine mounts. Is there a specific mount that is recommended, or will a mount from autozone fit the bill..?

I bought the Energy Suspension polyeurathane ones for $21 each I think.
Both of the rubber ones I had on the car were torn.
