V6 to V8 swap?

V6 to V8 swap?
does anyone know where i can get a how-to or procedure on a 2.8 to carbed 5.0 swap? i just wanna know what steps i need to take first, what extra parts will and wont work, etc... thanx

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Do a search on the Motor Swap forum.
You'll find:
Parts - Called a "donor factory V8 car".
Procedure - Take pictures of both, get a shop manual (for each, if different years/models). Then, change everything that is different.
Does this V6 car have any particular sentimental value? If not, the proceedure is: 1) Sell V6 car. 2) Buy a factory V8 car.
This advice is brought to you from someone who didn't know about thirdgen.org before he bought the V6 car (for what he thought was cheap), donor car (which probably could have been cheaper if he had looked around more), and went through the swap.
