I know the ls1 swap is possible...but has anyone tried the Ls6? I know its the same blcok but not sure if the different heads would clear. Just wondering since this engine producees much more power and causes z06's to go 12.1's.

 

there have been a couple of people who have done the LS1 swap (basilcy the same as an ls6).

 

Do a search, someone asked about ls6 a few weeks ago. Basically, the LS6 is identical with the exception of the heads, intake manifold, and camshaft. Most people go w/ the ls1 because its alot cheaper. As far as clearance, I think I remember doing research on this and because of the custom motor mounts, it sits a little lower in the bay, so yes, it'll clear.
