Timing|fuel mixture

OK i did a swap from a 2.8 to a 3.4 keeping my intake and plitum.
The problem is on the 3.4 it had electronic ignition and i put a distributer in. well on the place where the timing bracket should be there is a sensor (witch is not used) for the TDC position to tell the computer the timing. well sence im using distributer i need a timing light on it and there is nothing to match up to. Now heres the thing the engine runs fine but it pudders and doesnt back fire but little pops at idle and i can adjust the timing but i have no clue where to put it. also the TPS is not right on the right place and dont know how to set that up. since its a 3.4 wouldnt it need more fuel??

anyone who can help me get rid of this puddering i would worship

thanks

ok heres one more thing. I was reading the fourms and everyone says to chagne the Injectors from the 3.4 on to the 2.8 fuel rail. well i just kept the 2.8 intake and fuel rail the same since it all matched up.. But after reading that everyone says change them, does anyone think that this could be why the engine is not running to well.

Also when the engine is at idle and you know how when you push the gas it pushes that rod through the TB and pushes the TPS sensor down telling the computer more fuel. well if i dont move the throttle plate and just push the TPS sensor down manually alittle bit the engine revs up alittle. well on other Camaros it makes them run bad when i have tried it to see if mines right. Well im pretty sure that a vacumm leak is not the problem because it took me forever to find a harness and get it all fixed and i redid the vacume pretty well i think. what is this change in the engine mean when it revs up when i put more gas in it without more air??? could that just show me that its because i didnt switch the injectors? or would timing have something to do with it???
