Quicky! Headers to Fit?
Quicky! Headers to Fit?
Hello Everyone,
I am about to buy headers. Probably tomorrow. I have a '95LT-1 sitting in an '89RS.
Two conserns.
Aren't the LT-1 heads different. Like D port or something of the sort.
If I buy Headers for an LT-1 will I be able to route the exhaust in the proper place under the passenger side seat.
What have others done regarding headers?
I do want long tube headers.
Gus

The D-port isn't too big a deal. 3rd gen headers will work, just open the flanges (if necessary) so they don't block any of the port opening. SLP 1-3/4" primaries would probably do the trick out of the box.
