motor hesitating at low rpms
i finished my swap and had my carb adjusted, motor timed and fuel all set. Im still breaking it in so i dont step on it too hard but i have gotten on it a couple times and after i do when i come to a stop then accelerate normally, the engine hesitates at about 1500 rpm and drops to about 500 like its gonna stall then picks back up to about 2000. Could this mean i am running too rich or too lean? What do i do to stop this from happening. I have a carter competition 750 carb.

Sounds like the accelerator pump is not functioning or does not have the proper spring rate. The jets could be worng as well.
To get a carb setup right you should dyno tune.
