trouble lining up new motor
trouble lining up new motor
hey guys i swaped in a 350 with th350 this weekend but
the car i got it from was a 69 elcamino and i took the motor mounts and frame mounts
for some reason i cannot get the frame and motor to line up
i need it to go about 1/2 inch back to fit just perfect
are there any ideas
i dont know if all frame mounts look like this but they have the extensions towards the front of the car, if i swap sides and turn them around would that work? or do those extensions have to fase the front???

Are you using the El Camino motor mounts? Get thirdgen motor and frame V8 mounts, you shouldn't have a problem with alignment after that.
