I've got a '89 Firebird that came with a 2.8L V6 and I'm swaping in a '76 500ci Cadillac(V8 ofcourse) and was wondering would the tach still read right? Personally I don't think it will, but I was curious is there anything I can mess with to make it read right? I havn't got the engine ready to put in yet so I've got plenty of time to mess with little things like this and thats why I'm asking.

 

nope, it wont read right.....somebody told me they can be recalibrated, but i just got a v8 tach from another camaro
