Asking for help...3.4L to LS1

I currently have a 3.4L 1995 camaro stock 5 speed manuel....i want to put either an LS1 or LS6. I can't decide which one plus I don't know if they will fit. I have called a bunch of chevy owned dealerships/part stores and they know nothing. I need to know what all would have to be modified in order to get them to fit. I understand that from what I have heard the LS1/6 both have a 6 bolt pattern and my car has a 9 bolt. Is that true and will they still fit? What about the fuel pump? Exhaust? Computer? and what is a reasonable price. Best I have found so far is from Pace Parts at http://www.paceparts.com/subcatmfgpr...9&1=241&2=1084 Anything better out there? Thanks for the help

Well, first of all I shouldn't even bother to reply to this topic. There is a sticky at the very top of the page that should answer all of you questions. If you need anything specific other than that then ask those specific questions. But, please use the search button before everything else.

Yes of course it will fit. 98-02 cars came with the ls1 stock, and your car is just one of those with a 3.4 v6. You will need to change the computer, transmission wiring harness, and about everything else under the hood. I donar car would probably be your best bet.

You also need to change the springs, motor mount placement (I think). Try here.
