engine swap almost complete

i have a question
how many wires are supose to hook up to the starter (just one right)?

Engine: LT1

Transmission: 700r4

1 x red wire for solenoid (from cranking relay)

1 x "0" gauge red wire from battery

2-3 fuseable links going to the fusebox, and baterry ceramic or plastic distribution link
