LT1 Impala water pump

I work at a parts store and am doing research on putting an LT! into my 92 RS. I was looking at different LT1 parts and noticed that the LT1 Impalla SS water pump is only $30 compared to all the other LT1 pumps that are over a hundred. The only difference being that the Imapala pump has one less heater hose outlet. Has anyone run one of these on their swaps, because honestly I didn't figure I would need three heater outlets anyway. Thanks guys.

You gotta be ****ten me. I can just about gaurantee which outlet it is too, probably the one on the bottom right that goes to the oil cooler that I dont need. Its only $30?! I've gotta check that out when I get back in town. I dont see a reason why it wouldn't work.

It will work without any problems, the impala uses a different heater system and different rad.

The way the F-body waterpumps are, it takes the coolant from the block even when the thermostat is closed so the rad becomes to normal operating temperature faster, which result in faster heat trough the heather core.

Very cool that you found out that the price is 1/3, also FYI, this makes it a perfect pump when using a 3rd gen rad. no plumbing nightmares !
