Choice of cam for swap?

Im swapping a 350 chevy into my 4th gen camaro. (no not a LT1)
I am used to going waaay overboard on motor building. I always end up w/ a thumping, no low end, gas sucking, rough idle set-up.

But NOW all I want in a cam/motor is a nice mellow but noticable idle, good low and mid range torque, and fair gas mileage. (I like to just get out in traffic and off the line in a hurry and still have decent gas mileage and drivability)

I have 2.73 gears (for now) 194/202 equipped z28 heads and a turbo 350 Transmission, aluminum edel. intake and carb.

my 95 is about 3700 pounds (heavier than a v-8 third gen)

Any suggestions? from what I have seen it might be around 260-265 duration......... (guess)

any help is appreciated!!!

I have the GM HOT cam kit. I've never went this high with a cam before. I like it. It's got just enough lump and still passes NJ DMV rules

Sweet!
