It is one of the ultimate crap 350s. 929 cam, 882 or 624 heads, etc. Seems like a 350 2-barrel was "rated" at around 160 HP in those years. Even more weenie than your L03.

But as far as fitting, everything will bolt right up, with 3 exceptions: the angle of teh center 2 bolts on each side of the intake, the bolt pattern on the back of the crank, and the location of the oil dipstick (early dipstick totally incompatible with late model exhaust manifolds, you have to cure it with headers).

It's actually 3970014....350...70-76...2 or 4. So a 70's to 75 350 newly rebuilt

If it's been rebuilt, then who knows what cam and heads it has.... it doesn't matter what block casting it is, as far as fitting or power output, they'll all be like I described. Although, probably 95% or more of all generic rebuilt motors get a 929 replica cam, it seems.

I seem to recall having a 78 Z28 that had that block casting in it. What a pig that car was. That motor was probably pretty similar to what yours would be if it was still stock. So I think Mortec might be slightly inaccurate about the years it was used in.

Yeah..don't really care to much on performance right now. As long as it can make a 3 hour trip..it's all gravy. After that it can sling every rod for all i care =D
