305TBI to 350 TPI??
I bought an early L98 with the MAF setup I think it is 87. I have a 91 Firebird with the 305 TBI. I talked to our local Hot Rod shop and they said I can use my existing ECM do to the fact that it can run the early TPI systems. Can I do this and just get an aftermarket chip for it? The motor does have the harness and everything. I already changed my fuel pump and that is what caused my car to start dying b/c I think too much fuel is getting to the 305. Any help is appreciated.

Did you search the board? There is some wiring that need to be done to integrate the TPI system into your harness. As far as the I believe you can get by with changing the prom. However, I am not absolutely sure.
