My friend has an automatic 88 Camaro that will be getting a 97 LT1. What headers should we use for this application? Will any full lengths fit?

Also, what timing chain should we use? We are using the 306-8 cam, custom ground for a small base circle (it's a 383 stroker) with Pro Magnum roller rockers, complete comp valvetrain, etc.

 

Hi, you can always use shorties and port the flange so it will work with the D-shaped exaust port. On the other hand you can use longtubes if you are creative or if your friend is.
