Hey guys,

Im thinking of buying a trans-am(dont know the year yet) with a 305 multiport, 700r4 tranny with a possie rear end.
My question is weither Im better off modding this engine or pulling it out for a 350.
I got about $2000 to work with and most of the work can be done by a family member who is a mechanic.

If I go the route of the modding, what type of mods?
Anyone have a line on a 350 engine?
How much does a LT1 or LS1 engine run?

Buy a car that has what you want. If you want a 350, get one with a 350. It'll save you a lot of headaches and hassles.
