stock 1987 700r4 flex/starter on 350?
will my stock flexplate and starter work on my 350 swap? it's a 70s 2 bolt....im gonna throw on a pair of those cheap summit shorty headers (anyone know if they bolt right up to the stock ypipe?)

your flex plate on your 87 is for a 1 piece seal, the 70's block needs a two piece seal...the flex plates are different.

so would any pre 87' flexplate with 153 teeth (i think thats what mine is) work with my current starter?
