the swap

I wanna put a V8 in, i am willing to spend 2,000. How should i go about this i would like a 350, so should i get a new intake manifold and carb becuase i heard the tpi chokes it to death. I wanna get a t-5 so i will have to change over from auto how hard do u think this will all be. Should i get a new aluminum driveshaft and i have 3.23 gears right now i wanna put some 3.73 do u think that will be ok with the t-5 if it has O.D.

Get a donor car that came from the factory with V8 and T5. Find a 350 engine. Take out all the V6 stuff from your car, replace it with the V8 stuff from the donor car (basically, if it's different between the two cars, change it). Install the 350 hooking it up to the V8 donor car stuff.

I doubt $2000 will do it. If you could be happy with a 305 & 5-speed, and got a running donor car, then perhaps you could.
