The 2.8 isn't compatable with the 3.8 turbo engine. I'm not sure what you are trying to ask?

You will need more than the parts you listed. Best bet is to buy a TTA to drive (find one with a lot of miles or bad title if your budget is not too large) or if you are set on doing the swap into your thirdgen then buy a wrecked GN or T and swap everything over. Some boardmembers here have done the swap so you should have quite a few resources if you decide to pursue this.

i know there is quite a large parts list. Budjet... 6,000. Thats what i havce to spend on my motor. ( i also am doing suspension mods im gonna need some support got ttops!) I know i can still get tta mounts. the headers are not made any more but are avalible aftermarket. The other thing needed will be the wirring harness and comp. I just wanna know the details can some one give me all the things i need and dont need??. Almost an instrucion booklet lol. Well i think with 6 grand and a turbo gn i can pull elevens so please help me im very set on doing this thanks again

I think you might get more responses if you title this post 3.8 swap instead of 'The unexpected'. Also do a search on this swap as it has been covered many times. It is also in the FAQ section. After reviewing the parts that are recommended in those other posts you can go to the dealer and price them. Who makes aftermarket headers for the TTA? I was just saying you were better off buying a wrecked car because you will have everything you need and then can sell the rest that you don't end up using. It will cost you less in the end.
