anyone go tanyehlp for me im swapping my 305 tpi 5spd and puuting a 350 with5spd

ok i wanna change the eninge in my 305 5spd car into a 350 im hopping up the the 350 pretty wild but i know the knock senser and the fuel injectors i have to change but what about everything else like thye computer am i going to run into any trouble?

Axle/Gears: 10-bolt, 4.10 gears
The ECU is the same. The chip will have to be programmed for the 350 however. Also you will have to be carefull with the T-5 on a heavily modded 350. If your not good at driving a stick you'll tear it up quickly.

I have read many times that the T-5's don't hold up to well. Especially not in a highly moddified car. However there are I think two users on here that have T-5's with LT1's and they are doing ok. That could be a result of good driving skill. Manuals are often less reliable only because the people that drive them are idiots. So if your not gentle with the T-5 you could be looking at problems.

A T-56 swap would be benifficial down the road. It can be made to handle ALOT of power.

um my car is atually a 350 tpi and i want to put the 5 spd tranny in it

You don't have to change the computer at all in order to put in the 5 speed.

However, from the tone of your typing, I'll predict that the T-5 will not last very long at all in your car.
