If you don't listen to anyone else listen to a Canadian!

Do not drive that thing in the snow. The L98 has way too much low end to be in the snow.

I have seen many a persons try and there is no way to stop those tire from spinning thru 3rd gear. Even if you put skinny snow tires on.

Buy a front wheel drive beater for $500 and save yourself the hassel.

What would you think of yourself if you smacked it up?

I am going to go with the beater idea too. Driving a car that gets passed by Greyhound busses is better than runing the risk of mashing up your 'maro (or bird in my case).

Well, I live in southern England and I am currently looking forward to my first winter with the IROC-Z.

It rains LOADS here and holly ****! That took some getting used to. And for snow, well I am lucky that it doesn’t really snow here, but it does get icy... I am planning on not driving the IROC much at all in the winter, given that I don’t drive to work and I live close to shops it should be easy... If I can’t get away with that I’ll have to buy a cheap and nasty beater to go to the supermarket Either that or just rent a wreck once a week

not sure about a 350 but my 84 2.5L 4 speed sucked. Spent 4 years driving that car and pulled many of times out of ditches. Although it was a great feeling that it made it futher up a hill than a 4 wheel drive Jeep did in a 12 to 14 in snow. could have made it but the front was acting just like a snow plow and could not see out and was forced to stop. those were the days.
