1991350tbi into a 1990 car with 305tbi - wiring different?

Hello everyone this is my first post here, I'd appreciat the advice . . .

I recently got a high mileage 1990 firebird formula with a tired 305 tbi engine. I have recently been offered an 80k 350tbi engine from a 1991 camaro at a decent price. The engine comes complete with all accessories and the computer, but no wiring harness.

Question is, can I drop in this other engine and will all the wiring hook up, and will the computer just 'plug in'? Does anyone know if there were any changes in the wiring configuration between these years? I am a reasonable mechanic, but I dont want to get into anything that will be a major hassle and time suck (especially for what will be fairly minimal performance gains).

While i have this engine out, what are some effective improvements I can make while I'm at it? Would adding things like an edelbrock Performer RPM air gap manifold be an improvement? roller rockers? vortec heads? 383 stroker kit? larger injectors? Of course I plan to improve airflow as detailed in the TBI tips on the forum.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There is no such thing as a 1991 Camaro 350 TBI engine. In 1991 the Camaro was offered with a 305 TBI, 305 TPI, or a 350 TPI. It seems to me the person offering you this engine either has no clue what they have or they are lying to you.

just buy a 350 short block and slip it under your current top end
