Guys Im looking for info on how to find out what 87-up roller 350 blocks have a forged crank? I looked on Mortec but didnt see the info. is there any way to known besides droping the pan? did vortec V8 trucks have forged internals?thanks

I sincerely doubt it does, but www.sdpc2000.com sells GM 1 piece rear main seal 3.48 stroke forged crankshafts (which would be the crankshaft that 1 piece rms 350 block would take). Here is a part number if it helps on that crank:

cool thanks for the info. I have seen those. not a bad price. I was doing some searching and found blemished cranks on ebay from scat and eagle and few others. with the mains ground .010 all i would need is oversized bearings. wondering if anyone has used a blemished crank? at les than half the cost of new itrs worth looking at.
