Engine: 350
Transmission: TH400 4,000 stall
Axle/Gears: Currie 9", 4.56 gears
Engine project nearing the end

Few more bits to buy then it's off to the shop. Since this 350 is probably going to see 7,000 rpm during racing, should I invest in a fluid type dampener or stick with a stock style unit? The way it's looking, there's going to be about 6,000 bucks invested into this little project want it to last long enough to have some good fun

buy a sfi rated dampner. you don't want a factory piece on any sort of race engine.
