I have what you're talking about. Big block, TH400, and 12 bolt.
There are 12 bolts on the market that bolt right in or if you're talented you can weld on the brackets and torque arm mount yourself. I have the Strange Engineering 12 bolt with the Superposi and 3.73 gears.
TH400 fits in the tranny tunnel. TH400 with tranny blanket does not. The TH400 does not accept the factory torque arm so you will likely want to buy an aftermarket torque arm and tranny crossmember combo that mounts the torque arm to the frame where it belongs. Of course, you'll need a custom driveline with the TH400.
Big block drops right in on the small block V8 mounts. Some people have trouble with tall valve covers clearing the wiper motor and air conditioning. I have to run tall valve covers because I use 1.7 roller rockers but have no clearance issues with the wiper arm. I don't know of any person successfully using tall valve covers with air conditioning.
The worst part of the swap is exhaust. Header options are very limited and you'll spend about $800 before you get a set that fits right. The Hooker SuperComps do NOT fit worth crap. But most people use them because of cost.

Ok so the motor will fit in the stock location. Could a probuilt 700r4 be used? Without moving the tranny back or getting a new crossmember? Special driveshaft needed?

Yes.
Yes, you could use any builder's 700 for that matter.
No you don't have to move the trans anywhere, it remains in the stock location.
No special drve shaft is needed. Although, by the time you get done with a swap like this, getting a drive shaft made to your required length will be the very least of your worries; you walk into a drive shaft shop with you old one, hand it to them and say "make this x inches long"; and about $75 and 2 hours later, you're done with it.

What youre gonna have problems with is the power steering bracket and the clearance between the pulleys and the electric fans(for dual fan cars). The short valve covers fit my Comp Magnum roller rockers..The hooker headers wasnt too bad of a fit.The old style Spohn SFC's that I have have to be cut 6" though.BTW the power steering pump were hitting the steering box as well...

I see you still have all your air conditioning in tact but your compressor, do you think i would be able to fit my compressor in my car? becasue i really want the luxory of air, i dont care how much power it takes because i already have enuff. ha ha. the more info the better. I will be running power steering like Daz, and i guessss i will be gettin some short valve covers.

So basically its almost a direct swap. Most people don't seem to think its worth it. It would definetly be different. Ive never personally seen a big block thirdgen. It would be different but a nice 400 would probably be much easier and just about make the power./
