Hey guys. Ok, here's the story. I have an 87 Trans Am with the 305 LG4 motor. It used to be a carb, but I got the bright idea to swap in a fuel infection system. Problem is, I got my hands on an intake manifold from an 86. Now I have the chance to get an intake from an 87 motor. Problem now is this particular intake is from a 350. Will it fit on my 305? Thanks guys

An 87 TPI intake will fit on your 87 LG4. 86 and earlier intakes had slightly differently angle bolt holes and would require some drilling to modify the angle, but as long as the intake you have is an 87 you are fine (assuming that your engine is also an 87 or newer). FYI, there is no difference between a 305 and 350 TPI intake. Both engines used the same intake.
