Off to the machine shop it goes!
Took all the stuff I had laying around the house to the machine shop today
I might be driving around with the new engine in a month. The guy takes his time on performance stuff and I've seen a couple of engines he's done. Both were damn good and have held up great after abusive owners hehe. Anyway, here's a list of stuff I've taken down.
'87 350 block
Polished aluminum tall valve covers
AFR 195 heads 68cc
Pro Magnum RR
CompCams 294S
CompCams solid lifters
Eagle H beam 6" rods
Wiseco flat top forged pistons
Double roller timing set
Fluidampr SFI balancer
TCI's SFI aproved flex plate
ARP bolts for misc things
ARP main studs
ARP head studs
He's taking care of the steel crank, oil pump, pushrods, gaskets, freeze plugs, cam button and cam lock plate. The poor 305 is maybe coming out of the car next week, being sold off to a guy who wants it. It'll live in another car being rescued from duties as a boat anchor LOL. Gawd I can hardly wait to put some miles on it then let her rip
Then it'll be time for a new rear end hehehe
