Ok here's the scenario. My friend has a 87 Z28 with a 305 TPI. His uncle is giving him a 350 TBI out of his 88(?) Suburban. What my friend wants to do is drop the 350 in the Camaro, but ditch the TBI and use the TPI off his 305.

I'm thinking chip and injectors, but what other things will he need to address to pull this off? And as for the chip and injectors, should he get them from an L98 car?

 

you got it man.put the 350 in get a set of svo 24lb.inj. go to performance resources for a custom chip and you should be ready to roll out on some stangs,i personally would change the cam and chain in the process,look to see if the oil galley under the intake has the bosses for a roller set up most of the factory installed trucks have the bosses but they are not drilled and tapped,easy job though...if it does not have those bosses comp has a hydr. flat tappet cam that has STRONG bottom end its the 12-404-4,464lift 114lobe sep.222 @.050,use a 2500stall or irf its a roller set up that hott cam rocks!!!!!!!!!hope this helps yoooos guys out...
