Doug Nash 5 speed swap
Doug Nash 5 speed swap
Here is the setup going into the car a Doug Nash 5 speed reworked by Liberty. I currently have the universal Lakewood SFI bellhousing for it. I am going with the mechanical linkage for the car. Do I need a different bellhousing with the offset to make it work? I know that the floor is going to be cut out for the linkage to clear. Also the transmission is basically the same dimension as a Richmond 5 speed so if anyone has put one in was it a pain? I know I will be going with an aftermaket torque and trans mount but I have to see how far back the engine is going to be from stock before I buy one.
