would I need to take anything off of the 305 or change trannys or anything at all to make this work?? 350 carb or 350 FI....what differences would I notice for power and performance between the 2, in other words witch should I put in?? thanks for all suggestions.

 

there may or may not be differances in the intake bolt pattern and fly wheel, 2 places you need to pay attention. trans is the same. if you go carb you can trash all the wires from the ecm. need a new distributor, one not ecm controled. try the search button and reading you'll find a lot more info that way than by asking.
