timing on new engines.

ok.. when building an engine... how do you know if you got the timing right? do you just mess w/ the distributor until it sounds right? rofl.. or what..

OH YES...


also, with stroker motors.. do you have to do something w/ the oil pan.. or somethign? i was watching speed vision(bible on tv), and they had a gasket on there.. and said, and showed how it was notched out.. and htey said that was for big cranks in stroker motors... so.. i'm geussing the pan has to be different too? or where they talking out their asses?

nevermind on the timing part.. dumbbutt me didn't read down a bit further in the forum. kthx guys..& gals. :-) still need to know about that stroker thing though. thx. :-)
