ZZ4 Crate with HSR!?!
Well, the 350 took a dumb in a form of a rod. So now i am gettin a worked ZZ4.
Will it work if i make it a carb for now and then later purchase the complete HSR system. Will it still hook up and what lines and connections do i need to save and not scrap once i put the carb in on the new motor. The only reason for this is that i dont have the money to pump for the new motor and the HSR system, so carb will do for now. The only concern is if it will fit and work later.
Any info and whatever will help.

Charged,
I have researched this swap on the internet for months and today I wired my money from the UK to Sallee Chevrolet for;
ZZ4 with hotcam,edelbrock water pump,manual flywheel,complete HSR with commander 950 and wide band tuning all set up,run in and dyno'd
Im sure the way you are doing it will be fine,but bear in mind that the intake manifold will not be able to be used nor the distributor from the ZZ4.These will have to be replaced when you change to HSR.Also you will have to use a "low pressure"fuel pump for carb and a high flow for EFI.
Hava a look a Salle website.They have been so helpful to me.
cheers

Yeah i know that i cant use the distributor and hte intake, but i donno, everyone runnin injection in these cars, i may stuff a 750 cfm with a presure regulator for the 7 pounds needed for the carb and be liek a 69 camaro, or sumthing like that, oh, and them there is a differ cam and heads on the new motor so its rippin about 400 + and then i have a 150 shot of hte funny stuff...
