Cheapa$$ Strikes Again!

I beat the AC lines from the roadmaster into shape. The original LP line came straight out, it's amazing how easy it was to bend that sucker into a nice tight U. Just had to take my time and go easy. Then the fittings had a slightly different thread pitch, so I covered the threads with antiseize compound and worked them on and off a few times, adding antiseize as I was going, and in no time the threads were reformed to each other. The first pic is the original roadmaster AC lines, then theres the whole roadmaster engine in my wife's second roadmaster with my custom relocated MAF intake mod, then 2 shots of the IROC AC hookup. I have an *** kicking vac pump from one of the lasers I work on, it can suck down to less than 1/1000 of an atmosphere. Maybe it's time to get sme AC tools and gauges.

I hope these posts help other cheapa$$es like me make themselves a real nice car. Next is the power steering lines, the heater lines and the fuel lines, and then I still have to weld a bung into the exhaust for the right O2 sensor. The wiring will be last. I picked up some small 640x480 lcd displays and 233 pentium SBC's from work that were thrown out after some equipment upgrades, i may try to put one in the dash. I already have an AKM cable and some software. I'll use it to play mp3's too.

Cash outlay so far-

Engine- free, kept it from my wifes totaled RM, and I sold enough parts off the totaled car to make a few bucks.

Iroc- $700, sold the 305 that was in it for $500

JB Weld- $4
