hey guys, im helpin my buddy out put a 455 toronado motor into his 86 camaro, what do we have to get as far as motor mounts, what needs to be changed there, and can a 700r4 mount up to it, if not can he get an adapter plate, i know this trans might not hold up so well with it if it even does mount up ... but right now its all he has, he just wants it to run right now.. so any other things that we need to be aware of and must be changed please let me know, just gathering info right now before we get too far ahead of ourselves.. thanks alot

 

I would check out www.chiefmanyhorses.com and see if they can help. They speacialize in fabbing mounts for pontiac engines. Otherwise check the biuck 455 post. Perhaps they have a source for mounts.
