Got started today pulling stuff out of the engine bay. Tomorrow the 6 banger and tranny come out, then start prepping the engine bay for some paint. Then the new Heart will get transplanted.

I'm not 100% sure just yet. I've been checking out Speartech. They have a deal where you can send in the old harness then they re-work it, but I'll probably just be tackling it myself. I already have the V6 harness out, which I wont use any of it. I also found that a rodent was hanging out in the car and eating a few wires every now and then, luckily none in the interior though, and actually none that I will be using.

I see you got a LS1 also. What are you doing for a check engine light, ALDL port and so on? If you dont mind.

I looked into Speartech a lot also, talked to them about what they can do for me any everything, and it seems like a good deal. At this point tho, I really could use the 450 elsewhere you know? I'll be tackling this one on my own also. Hopefully with the help of a friend of mine who has done an LT1 swap.

About the the light and port. I have an LS1 matching under the dash harness from the same car and I am gonna use that. That way I can have a friend with LS1 Edit, I am gonna drop the $250 on a VIN licsence on my comp for him to tune it for me. So he can edit allt hat crap we dont need for the light to stay off. I am doin a 4th gen dash too, so I with have the gauge cluster and all that.

Yeah $450 come on, then $750 for a new one...nah. That would get the nice N20 set-up.

I'll probably be going to the J-Yard to hunt down some under dash wiring bits, do a little splicing and soldering and voila. I wont be going as far to swap the 4th gen dash (not yet anyways), so good luck with that.

I'm trying to keep this swap basic, but I keep adding things that I probably dont need, but I think they will be worth it.

LOL I do the same thing, by adding stuff I really dont need. But I still think it will be cool.

As far as J-yards go. I cant find a single on in WI that has an LS1 F-body... Not one. Thats no **** either.
