350 lt1 to 350 tpi

im thinking about buying a 350 lt1 engine from 1994 camaro, i was wondering if i bought this engine could i just use my 87 tpi setup off of my 305 and bolt that onto the lt1 block or wound there be a problem, also would the lt1 block blot up to my 700 r4 without any complications. bassically i want a 350 but dont wanna go through all the work of converting my car to the lt1 setup
thanks

700R4 will bolt to the LT1, but you have to get a '93 throttle body if you want to use it. However, the TPI will not bolt to the LT1, and then you have to ask why. The TPI would choke the hell out of the LT1 and wouldn't be anywhere near worth the cost of the engine. If you want to do that, just get a 350 long block and bolt your TPI on it.

Yea, just spend the $200 to get the lt1 intake, its a hell of a lot better than the TPI.
