L4 to 350

Hi I recently bought an 83 L4 in pretty good shape. The engine and tranny suck and have no HP.
I want to build a really decent Saturday Night **** Eater that won't flip me off the road either.

I was thinking Edelbrock fuel injected 350 with a Muncie Rockcrusher. Will it work?

With the right time and money supply you can make any small block work. You are going to need to be really speciic on what your goals are and what you want your motor to do and have.

power level?
induction type?
power adder?
etc etc

well the 350 I found is a big block for $1000. I'm still in the market for the fuel injection system, as for induction and power adder, I don't know what those are. This is my first project car.

A 350 isn't a big block unless it is a destroked 396/402/427/454 or something along those lines.

Perhaps you meant "long block".
