LT1 fired up! :)

Just got the car started turned the key and heard the massive power of a open header LT1. However I idled at 5000 rpm lol. I think i hooked the vacuum lines up wrong from the regulator to the intake manifold:

I put mine on the top instead of the bottom, I would check myself right now but im stuck at work for another hour. Is this the problem of the 5000 rpm idle? Thanks.

Awesome man! As far as the vacuum lines, it doesnt matter which port they are plugged into, they all go to the same source. Something else is causing it to run high. Make sure your idle air control is plugged in, and that you don't have any other vacuum leaks.

Congrats on getting it started. Hope you figure out whats making her idle so high. And I thought I had idling problems(1500 rpm).
